V710...A Moto and VZW joint blunder

The Motorola V710 was one of the most hotly anticipated phones in recent memory. A quick look at HowardForums confirms that. The big deal was that everyone was waiting for a VZW phone that supported Bluetooth. Out came the phone and guess what? Many of the Bluetooth profiles were disabled and you know what happens when people don't get what they were told. It's lawsuit time! Only a short while after the phone was released came a lawsuit that forced VZW to replace all the phones, give owners their money back and give people the option to leave without paying the dreaded ETF. What's the message sent to VZW? Don't cripple phones! They must have listened since they released the RAZR with BT profiles intact.
